Took a little while to warm up to this merlot, to be honest. Not very silky.

Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Heredad

Got this stuff from an institutional friend for New Years 2010, and drank it to celebrate an occupational accomplishment. That vague enough?

Well this Spanish sparkling white was greenish gold, with a taste of lime, mineral, and some kind of herbs, like grass maybe. Very tasty.

Have I mentioned the TV show Parks and Recreation lately? I think it's the funniest show I've ever seen.

Chateau Peyraud Cotes de Blaye 2005

This Grand Vin de Bordeaux has a purply hue, and aromas of cigar, earthy, cherry, cinnamon.
Similar flavours, plenty of cherry and some spice. Tannins are low, highish acidity. Medium, tart finish. Very nice.

I think Parks and Rec, starring Amy Pohler, is my favourite TV show of all time. It's that funny.
