For me, this was a perfect wine: fruity and a bit smoky, blackberries, acidity, mild tannins. Had it with quinoa salad last night and finished it off today, Bastille Day, in the late afternoon. Fuel for tonight's fireworks.
It's rosé season in Paris. Every wine aisle is stocked with the stuff, which suits me just fine.
This one is off-dry. It's crisp and minerally, with sort of a diesel thing that reminds me of a riesling. I like it. It's best cold. Like Paris is, right now, and rainy. And dark. A grey summer so far, but fun too.
Chicken is warming in the oven, and the potatoes are about to go in.
