Peyrouley Bordeaux 2008

Deep garnet, not many aromas, but i'm using a simple water glass.

Flavours of blackberry, jam, light smoke. Absolutley delicious. High acidity, moderate tannins. Great with our dinner of roasted potatoes, green beans and harlic bread. About to tuck into dessert of rubarb specaloo verrine and watch another Modern Family.

A winner.

Baron de Pierre 2010 vin de Bordeaux

Honey! Delicious honey. I really liked this wine. It is (was) golden coloured, off dry, and tasted like honey-dripped melons on an August porch.

Serve cold.

Just finished the final episode of the West Wing. What a great show. But why did they give away the ending in the opening moments of episode one of season seven?
