Not a huge fan of this this wine, if I'm being honest. Not to say it's not well done, it's just not what my taste buds are cheering for today.
Tart, very tart, lightly earthy, smoky.
No bottom end, which is what I like.
Medium tart finish.

Malard Champagne Grand Cru
Lots of pear and some kind of not sweet, not bitingly tart apple. It's citrusy without tasting like lemon. Lime rind maybe. What else? Mineral, rocks, flowers, herbaceous. Quite an interesting, complex flavour combo.
We just got back from watching My Week with Marilyn. Another fairly complex character. I enjoyed the movie. I was able to put myself there, despite the person beside me loudly rubbing his stubble.
