Delicious, crisp and acidic. I taste honey and apple, and peach.
Forgive me, I'm drinking it right from the bottle.

Pepperwood Grove Viognier 2007
Viognier is one of my favourite whites, though I don't buy it too often, probably because its not as readily available as other whites. Also I can't spell it easily. What this has to do with not buying it, I couldn't tell you. Guess I'm just finicky.
This Californian was very nice, though slightly atypical for Viognier, with lots of smoke, honey and orange blossoms. Atypical as it had more smoke and honey, and less blossoms, less floweryness than I remember. Or perhaps my memory is just as finicky.

Latria 2006 Montsant Red
God bless the LCBO, with so many wines under $20. I picked up a couple Spanish reds yesterday, for Easter, to remind me of our time walking the Camino di Santiago. This is 50% granache, 50% carignan, from the East part of Spain. Robert Parker liked it to the tune of 90 points.
It has lots of flavour, allspice and pepper, licorice maybe, lots of fruit. It's been ever better on day two, more flavour. I'd buy it again.
