This guy was ruby coloured and tasty. Finished off the bottle after returning to Vancouver from Seattle, after a great weekend with some friends. Got another excellent tour of the coffee shops there. My favourite was Lighthouse, where I had a perfect macchiato, made by a long-red-haired barista. Also checked out Blackbird, a great men's shop in Ballard, and Paseo for a ridiculously good pulled pork sandwich.
This wine, by Cedar Creek, from BC's Okanagan Valley, is all bright cherry, raspberry, vanilla, light pleasant smoke, milk chocolate and tastiness.
Great value.
I'll buy it again.
