Le VIeux Pin Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Boy, another warm weekend. What hot weather we've been having this summer. I think July was the hottest July on record, or the longest, or something. No better way to pass it than with some cold white wine.

This is the second bottle of this stuff that I had, and I just noticed that I've already written about it. In the previous post. Embarrassing? Instead of prattling on about it again, I'll write about what I did today:

Went for a jog, ate breakfast (two eggs, sunny side up, homegrown tomatoes, cinnamon toast, espresso, two olives and watermellon), read Charlotte Gill's "Travel Lessons" short non-fiction piece in Room magazine, bought some groceries to prepare for tomorrow's Summerscream ice cream party, and listened to the new Wolf Parade, which is energetic but on my speakers sounds as crisp as a dull axe pounding iron. Also got a haircut at a place I've never been, again. The third trimmer I've been to in the past year. Unable to commit.
