One of my favourite wines. Perfectly balanced, nothing overpowering, like a great badminton opponent. Gentle acidity and tannins, blackberry, strawberry, light smoke, dark chocolate. It tastes better in my taller wine glasses. More restrained.
Listened to Shabazz Palaces, which I just bought (also bought Girls' Father, Son, Holy Ghost). A nice sunny Sunday. Went to Thierry Patisseries in downtown Vancouver, where I had a pretty excellent berry fruit tart. With raspberries.
Biked there.
In the afternoon we made this chili, which we ate while watching The West Wing, S2 E08. It was all very good.
