Tantalus Riesling 2008

We had this in the basement for two years along with a few other of the same, plus a few pinots by Tantalus. Bought them all on a fun okanagan weekend with some friends. Mini golf was a highlight of that trip, as was the visits to a few wineries. Tantalus was memorable partly because the winery, this was in 2009 remember, was in a small portable building about the size of a portable. It was also memorable because he wine was great.

This Riesling is crisp and off dry, right At the edge, where I like it. Its diesely and minerally and tart. We opened it on Saturday, making Andean squash stew with quinoa. Having it tonight for leftovers.

The weathers been great lately. Sunny and cool. Great conditions for another road trip.
